Bahasa Melayu

The Bahasa Melayu curriculum at Julia Gabriel Preschool is designed using a fun, appealing approach filled with songs, language games, and interactive activities to inculcate a love for the language from a young age. Our Bahasa Melayu specialist teacher converses primarily in Bahasa Melayu, thus providing the children with excellent reference and inspiration. The early introduction of Bahasa Melayu encourages the children to gain a more comprehensive world-view and a better understanding of the local culture and tradition living in Malaysia.

Bahasa Melayu is offered from Nursery 1 until Kindergarten 2, and is also a part of the After School Care for Pre-Nursery and Nursery 1 children. The subject is creatively designed to supplement and reinforce their exposure to this third language following their first introduction to Bahasa in the Core Programmes.
